I Heart Faces~Oh So Silly

These little ladies might kill me for this one! These lovely little ladies are all dancers. After a long day in the studio, it was time to let off a little steam, and have fun ….in the shower!

I Heart Faces~By the book

I have really been pushing myself to come up with new ideas, and step out of my box.Not an easy task. I really put a lot of thought into this one. My son, who is 6 has really just started reading. I see how much he loves to read, and as cliche’ as it is, I see him lose himself in the books. That is where I got my inspiration for this one. Thanks for stopping by. I always love, and appreciate comments!

Valentines day

I have a great idea for the upcoming Valentines Day holiday. My hubby is building a kissing booth and I will be offering mini sessions with it. I am super excited to add this in addition to my Beloved sessions for the holiday! More to come, so keep an eye here on the blog.

Thankful~Days 3,4,5&6

Ok I know you aren’t supposed to do this, but it has been a nutty few days. One day I won’t say this I swear! I did keep my Thankful’s together because I knew I would eventually get a blog post up! So here goes, I don’t really have a whole lot of pictures this time because things were so crazy.I am going to make light of a crazy situation, because if I don’t laugh I will die.

Day3~Thursday Nov 3

I had some medical testing done that came back really not great. So I headed to Reno to follow up with some further testing. After paying $500 when my car broke down right when I got into town, I went to my test. The testing turned out MIRACULOUSLY well. When I say that I mean the doctor actually came in and said she had no explanation what happened but everything was perfect, and she was pretty in awe herself. So at this point I was thankful for Medical Technology, and Miracles, and God. Then I left my appointment and ended up getting rear ended on the freeway. The road conditions were very bad, and we were blessed that it wasn’t much worse. We had been bummed that we brought our car that broke down, but this is a very large car compared to the other one we have , and now we were so thankful we had the big car because the accident would have been possibly serious in my other car. By the end of this day I WAS JUST THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE!!!!

Day4~ Friday Nov4

Friday it snowed. It was cold. Two of my least favorite things. Friday I was thankful for my fireplace, and the ability to purchase oil for it!

Day 5~ Saturday Nov 5

I had a photo session to do. I worked on a senior project with a senior. I had a pretty busy day , but I saw a storm heading in, and I was very worried that my session would have to be canceled. We were able to quickly schedule for a little earlier and we just made it in. Today I was thankful I was able to work!

Day6~Sunday Nov 7

I had to head to Reno again for some supplies. This is bad when my kids have other things scheduled. I hoped I would make it back in time to pick Maggie up from dance, but alas, I did not. My friend Jessica, so kindly drove my kids home from dance when I didn’t manage to make it back in time. Today I was thankful that I really do have a great couple of people who  help me out when I am in a pickle, and I do the same for them!

Thankful~Day2

Today I am thankful for re-found family. This is my cousin. I got to meet him for the first time this year. He is an amazing kid. I am so glad to have him and my Aunt and Uncle in my life this year. What a blessing it has been to have found them and to be able to reconnect with them!

Amy~ Susanville Senior photographer

As I move on from Seniors , I still have a ton to blog but I wanted to say thank you to all my amazing seniors this year! I have known Amy for quite a few years now. I was honored that she picked me to do her photography since she herself is very interested in photography. I met her at her house where we did some of the first portraits. She has the most adorable boxer ever but I am pretty sure the dog just wanted to eat me. After seeing Amy’s room I told her that I was pretty sure that if I was still in high school we could be bff’s! I love her unique sense of style, and how original her session was. Amy you rock! I had a blast with you. Lots more to come so keep checking the blog!

Thankful~Day1

I have so much chaos going on in my life right now (like a broken rib, for one thing), so this is the perfect time for me to stop and count my blessings. There are so many of them. 30 days won’t hardly cover it. So for the next month it is my goal to post what I am thankful for in pictures. If you are doing a 30 day gratitude project please feel free to leave me your blog address so I can come see what you are thankful for!

Today, I am thankful for this guy. We have had our share of ups, and downs, and some really bad life experiences together but no matter what, we always come back together. I always know that no matter what, he is there when I need him. One of only two remaining family members I have , he is my second best friend, right behind my husband(sorry man, Freman beats you there)! This is my brother.  Did I mention I am pretty sure I got switched at birth? We look nothing alike! I love you Joe!

Favorites of the week~Fall Edition

It’s Fall! I already talked about this on my Facebook page yesterday, but Fall just makes me happy. The cool air, the amazing colors, holidays and togetherness. They all encompass Happiness to me. I have to admit, I am a total web surfer. If, and this is a big if, I have any extra time I like to look at what everyone else in the cyber world is up to. I found some great things this week so I thought I would share!

I spend so much time doing things for others, in my job, in my life, pretty much in all aspects. My one goal is to not let down, those who depend on me. This video brought tears to my eyes along with the great blog post with it.

I have had the pleasure of photographing one very special little man named Mitchell. Some great ideas are forming about kids with down syndrome. Please help support the cause of learning more about loving, and supporting kids with down syndrome. These families amaze me!

Last one, for my clients. I am always getting asked for ideas of what to wear for portraits. While I generally have a plan for you, it’s always better to have a visual. Check this out, it’s so very cool.+

Have a lovely weekend!
